Questions from retail owners
Is Butter a fit for retail, not just F&B?
Butter grew up in F&B — businesses that make and sell their own goods — so its stock, labelling, receiving and transfer workflows are mature. The same workflows suit retailers managing stock across several stores.
Which label printers are supported?
Labels print on Zebra printers with QR codes. Till receipts print on networked Epson printers.
How is receiving from suppliers recorded?
In the manager app, staff receive the purchase order, photograph the bill and enter the receiver’s PIN. AI reviews the bill photos, and the result is approved in the backoffice.
Can stock be moved between stores?
Yes. Internal transfers are picked and packed by storage location, printed with a delivery note, then received at the destination store.
